Hello everyone...Hope all is well and you are ready, or getting ready for winter. If you check out our picture page youw ill see what we have been up to since our last post. We love leaves! Grayson enjoyed helping us fill the pumpkin bags for our halloween display, Kiefer liked to mess up the piles!
We did not dress up for Halloween because we were not too interested in any kind of costume. We did, however enjoy handing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters!
Also, you will notice that the boys got a new room! it is their official "big boy" room. They are still sleeping in their cribs but we have the toddler beds for when they are ready, we just set them up to take the pictures so everyone that is not here could get the whole effect! This was their early christmas present. We worked very hard on it so let us know what you think!
Other then that we are keeping busy and waiting for snow! Take care, and drop us a note sometime, we would love to hear from you!

Kiefer and Grayson on the move
Hi all! Hope you are all enjoying our lovely fall weather. I know that it came earlier then we all thought it would but i welcome it with open arms! That heat this summer was TOO HOT! It's also been awhile since I had time to write a note on here. The boys and I have just got a new minivan!!! HURRAY now we have our own wheels, which we need because we are BUSY! We have playgroup tuesday, gymnastics wednesday, storytime at the library on Thursday and then we have our SPOTTO (twins and triplets group) on the first monday of the month. we also just finished up with our Fall SPOTTO sale which is always a good time and helps clear out some things that we no longer need! The boys will be 19 months old in 3 days and they are growing like weeds! They are in the 75th-90th percentile for their age group, and that is not including that they are 6 weeks premature! BIG BOYS!! They love to play, they love to eat and they love to drive me crazy!! Just kidding they are really great kids! They are also expanding their vocabulary every day, although the words are mostly just sounds right now, ("ba" for ball) I am sure that they will be talking a circle around me anyday!
Thats all for today!
Hope that we get to see everyone soon! Take care and drop us a note if you feel the urge

Summer time fun
Hello everyone! Hope that the summer is treating everyone well.
We have been keeping busy busy busy as usual. Chad was on holidays this past week and will be back to work Monday. This gave me a chance to get in a few hours at daycare and the boys some time alone with Daddy! My mom is on holidays this coming week so I will be getting a few more shifts at daycare and then we are possibly going to Regina for a few days. Yesterday we went to our first spray park! The boys love getting wet so they had a great time! Tomorrow we are heading out to the zoo for a walk and then we will have a picnic lunch in the park at the zoo.
Hope all is well with everyone, we would love to hear from you!

what we are working on...
Hello Family and friends,
Just a little peek into our daily life here at the Hendry house. Kiefer and Grayson are true "boys' boys" , so to speak. We are battling with hitting and biting, wrestling and toy stealing! But no worries, behind the battle wounds we are all surviving. The boys are starting to follow directions and know what their VERY predictable schedule brings at them around every corner. Kiefer is a GREAT climber. He has mastered the kitchen chairs and the couches in the living room. I am preparing myself for the day that he decides to climb out of his crib! Grayson, while never too far behind his brother in the mischief tends to have a little bit more time enjoying quiet activities. He has discovered books lately and will sit for 20 minutes at a time looking at all the books he can get his hands on. His biggest passion right now is any book with cats or kittens in them. He loves kitties and will show anyone who will look at the book with him!
Well that is all for now! Take care.

It's been awhile
Hey all!
We have not been very good at keeping up with this blog...we will try to work on that. Well for the last 4 months we have been REALLY busy! The boys are RUNNING circles around me, and driving me NUTS! hahah, but a good nuts...I guess! They are getting regular haircuts now, every 6 weeks or so, and they HATE them. Other than that they enjoy being outside as much as possible or just following Grandpa around where ever he goes! They are not talking alot, they say "grandpa" and "tucker" well...things that sound like those words. The boys will response with an enthusiastic "woo woo" when you ask what does Tucker (or a puppy)say. Grayson has just recently started saying "kitty kitty kitty" , and his obsession with cats grows!
Chad has just recently been promoted to Performance Coach at work, so he is enjoying that and I have been picking up a few shifts a week at daycare.
Hope all is well with all of you!

We made it!
Well the boys first birthday is in the books. We had a few friends and family members over to help celebrate the day.
We did hot dogs on the bbq and of course cake and ice cream.
Liza made and decorated the Cars cake all by herself. Everyone was really happy with how it turned out.
The boys got lots and lots of presents included a Dora & Diego Pirate Ship, A crazy tunnel, Lots of books, A Little People farm set & a whole lot more.
Thanks to everyone who came, called or thought of the boys on their special day.
Talk to you all soon,

Beaners
So we took the boys to this place called Beaners today. It is a children's hair salon that opened recently in Saskatoon. This would be the first professional haircut the boys have had. Liza gave them a trim a few months ago but nothing like the haircut they got today.
Liza had a mental picture of what she wanted to have done to the boys hair but she was nervous and she was unsure if they would be able to pull off a spiked hair style. The lady who cut the boys hair was awesome and the picture in Liza's head matched perfectly to what the stylist did.
We couldn't believe how big Kiefer and Grayson have been getting lately but now with this new hair style they are truly big boys.
We have added pictures of this adventure for all to enjoy.
Only 6 more days until they are 1!

First Post
Glad to see you make the journey to our new website...I mean blog.
We decided it would be best to switch over from a full website to a blog. Not only is it less time consuming to have a blog compared to a full website, but now Liza can add to the blog whenever she wishes.
With the previous website I (Chad) was the one who maintained it. I was using a program called Dreamweaver to create the website and a lot of the design of the website was confusing so it never gave Liza the opportunity to update the website. This of course led to the website never getting updated.
We hope you enjoy our new blog, it should be updated a lot more frequently with news and photos of your favorite twins.
As you can see on the right hand side of the screen is a link to a new Web Album page on Google where we will be keeping all of the pictures of the boys.
